THINGS THAT MAKE THIS JOB INTERESTING

Flight Network is headquartered in Canada but has a strong presence in other markets such as Australia, the US, Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe. In this role, you will be directly involved in the company’s international strategy relating to these markets and you will analyze consumer shopping behaviour in each of these markets. One of of the biggest projects that we are currently working on involves launching new country websites that offer a local look and feeling (language, methods of payment, currency, local airline content etc), and you will be an integral part of that process.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Participate in the ideation and creation of customer acquisition strategies.
  • Understand how e-payments work and work with the team to create complicated payment strategies.
  • You will work directly to improve the online and offline experiences of our customers by conducting market research and developing strategies for the new local websites we are launching.
  • Work closely with the fraud department and gain an understanding of how fraud detection tools work.
  • Participate in the negotiation of agreements with 3rd party vendors.
  • Assist with our airlines distribution strategy.
  • Liaise with other departments such as IT, Product, Finance, Analytics, and our Operations team.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU:

  • 3+ years working in a marketing or business role
  • Passionate about international business and ecommerce
  • Good understanding of Marketing localization strategies
  • Thrive in a highly collaborative and dynamic company environment where agility is paramount
  • Embrace using metrics to make better decisions

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
